Application for Library Technology Domain: VB Development An application designed and developed for Libraries. The project has been done in colaboration with Vivekananda Society for Library & Social Services - an organization for development of libraries with members from the field of library & information science to incorporate inputs from the domain, covering Acquisition; Classification & Cataloguing; Membership; Circulation; Book Search; Periodicals and an Archiving Module for scanning, indexing and storage of page images and texts of rare books and articles with reference service for such archives; provision for analytical information; MARC21 support and AACR2. Option is available by which books and member transactions may be done by barcode. A web module is available for checking availability of books and their status with member login. The application comes with provision of module-wise installation with four basic modules viz. Classification & Cataloguing; Membership; Circulation; Book Search and thereafter other modules as optional add-ons. Click for a write-up
Application for Schools Technology Domain: VB Development A customized Application covering functional areas of a school from the application process [with generation of application forms]; into admission; maintenance of students' database with performance records on extra-curricular activities and disciplinary particulars; recording of academic results and generation of marksheet; accceptance of fees under different components and maintenance of related accounts with auto-posting options. Application for Ramakrishna Mission Centres Technology Domain: VB Development A customized application developed on cost-centre and sub cost-centre structure to cater to maintenance of Accounts with generation of ledger/sub ledger, trial balance, receipt/payment and fund abstracts, Investment with provision for keeping track of investments made and relevant interest income/divident received, Assets with automatic depreciation calculation, Donations with system for monthly donation, Publication with costing options, Sales of books & other articles with maintenance of relevant stock and Payroll maintenance (optional) with PF and ESI records for centres of Ramakrishna Math and Mission. Areas like maintenance of guest house records (in case of centres providing guest house facilitites to devotees) and initiation records for initiation programmes held from time to time have also been brought under the purview of the application.
